Why did my KYC verification fail?

If your KYC verification fails or is delayed, it is likely due to one of the following reasons. Here’s a list of common issues and how to avoid them:

1. Unclear or Blurry Documents

  • Problem: If the documents you submit are unclear or blurry, it becomes difficult for our team to verify your details. We recommend uploading high-resolution copies that are legible and clear.
  • Solution: Ensure that all text, photo, and other details on your documents are visible and easily readable. Use a scanner or a high-quality camera to take clear, well-lit photos.

2. Providing Another Person’s Document

  • Problem: KYC verification requires that the documents submitted must belong to the account holder. Using another person's documents will result in an automatic failure of the verification process.
  • Solution: Only submit documents that belong to you and match the information provided during registration.

3. Incorrect Information on Documents (e.g., Name, Date of Birth)

  • Problem: Any discrepancies between the information provided on your documents (such as your name, date of birth, etc.) and the details entered on your Adda52 account can cause verification to fail.
  • Solution: Double-check the details you entered during registration and ensure that they exactly match what is listed on your official documents.

4. Uploading Forged or Edited Documents

  • Problem: Submitting forged or edited documents, such as altered IDs or photos, is strictly against our policy and can result in a permanent ban from the platform.
  • Solution: Only submit original, unaltered documents. Ensure that the images you upload reflect the original documents as they appear.

5. Documents Belonging to a Minor

  • Problem: If the documents you provide indicate that you are a minor, your KYC verification will be rejected as our platform is only available to users above the legal age of 18 or the minimum age requirement in your jurisdiction.
  • Solution: Please ensure that you meet the legal age requirement and provide documents that verify your age accordingly.

6. Providing Photo Copies Instead of Original Documents

  • Problem: Our platform requires that you submit original documents for KYC verification. Photo copies or scanned copies of documents will not be accepted.
  • Solution: Upload clear images of the original documents, ensuring that all details are visible.

If your verification takes longer than expected or you receive a notification of failure, you may need to resubmit your documents. Make sure to check the guidelines above and try again.
